Our programming focuses on Black, Indigenous, and other diverse founders operating businesses in Atlantic cities (The Bronx, Newark, Philadelphia), South Central cities (Louisville, Houston, Tulsa), and Tribal Nations. Our programming ethos is to meet our network of founders where they are. Venture capital funding may not be for everyone, but we support our network of founders in building a legacy that meets the needs of their communities.
Our Programs
Founder Sprint Series
In cohorts of four, we connect and prepare founders for the next stage of their business growth by connecting them to a funded Sprint Series where over a six-week period they can solve an urgent business challenge. Through Impact Partner sponsorship, founders receive $5,000 to $10,000 awards.
PitchProv
A refreshing take on networking and building community. PitchProv is a low-pressure activation that fosters community through engaging in pitching meets improv challenge. We are getting founders, investors, and interested parties in a room where the playing field is level, and everyone has a chance to flex their pitching skills. Through Impact Partner sponsorship, the prize pool is $5,000.
Storytelling Hub
The Founder Forward team believes in the power of storytelling. So, we leverage our expertise in brand communication, economic development, and place-based entrepreneurial solutions to produce workshops, case studies, reports, social media campaigns, and keynotes. Our storytelling targets entrepreneurial support stakeholders and founders. Through Impact Partner sponsorship, founders receive story amplification.
