Sprints are designed to support founders in addressing urgent business challenges that directly impact their ability to become community leaders and job creators. Our Sprint Series helps founders achieve: high survival rate, low displacement rates, and increased investment. Each company accepted into the cohort receives grant funding.

The Challenge: Despite achieving early revenue milestones, diverse founders in emerging markets often delay critical hiring decisions. The complexity of setting up HR systems, navigating legal safeguards, and creating a comprehensive training program to support employee success has founders trapped as operational leaders. The inability to transition to strategic leaders prevents them from growing beyond the $500k revenue stage toward the $1M+ threshold.
Our next Sprint is a five-day focused deep dive on moving from an early revenue founder to a strategic employer who hires for business acceleration rather than administrative relief. Each three-hour session combines expert instruction with immediate implementation, focusing on revenue-driving hires that unlock founders capacity for strategic leadership.
Program details
Founders receive $5,000 grant funding ($2,000 at the beginning of the Sprint and $3,000 with the completion of Sprint requirements)
The Sprint is a 5-day commitment of 3 hours per day from 5:00pm to 8:00pm EST, with pre-readings assigned for each day. Mandatory attendance at all five sessions.
Our sessions have one in-person kickoff, with the rest Conducted 100% remote
Sprints combine lectures, panel discussions, and fireside chats, concluding with a 90-day hiring roadmap customized to founder needs
Access to Founder Forward’s network of founders across media, regenerative business, consumer product goods, and frontier tech industries
Access to ongoing advisory sessions and post-program support
Sprint eligibility
Located in New York City metro area (Including Long Island, Boroughs, Newark)
Generate $150,000 to $500,000 annual business revenue
For-profit business entity registered to operate in the United States
Have between 1 to 10 employees
Operating a business in the consumer product goods sector
Ready to make a first strategic hire or recently made a first hire to drive revenue growth and not task relief
